Participation through creative illustrations is invited from all Asian Arts Schools / colleges on the themes “The 12 Principles of Valid Action - click here to download the booklet.
One of the main concerns of humanist studies is about happiness in life. Every Human being tends to achieve happiness in life. But it is obstructed by pain and suffering. Pain is physical and removal of the same depends on the advancement of science and society. But suffering is mental, and its removal depends on the right understanding and behaviour. There are these 12 principles also called as laws of behaviour that can help in mitigating suffering.
The Asia level illustration competition is being launched for students from Arts school / colleges to provide them with an opportunity to learn about these principles and express their understanding in the form of illustration. This in turn is to encourage them to reflect on understanding the roots of suffering and how to work on it.
The participation of the Arts schools / colleges in the competition would mean:
Giving an opportunity to the students to learn about these 12 Principles of Valid Actions that can help to mitigate suffering from their life.
Encourage them to have their original reflections on the subject.
Facilitating their participation in a Asian Level Competition.
Earning for your school/college accolades by winning in the Asian Competition.
But above all it would entail your priceless contribution of the school / college in developing understanding of the most important aspects of our life and take a small step towards building a happier human society.
